Rewire: A Chronic Pain Recovery Course

A structured, science-based path to retrain your brain and reclaim your life from persistent pain.
If you have lived with chronic pain, migraine, vertigo, fatigue, insomnia, stress, or anxiety for months or years—and other treatments haven’t helped—this course may be for you.
This 16-week program is designed specifically for people with long-standing symptoms. It combines the most effective insights from Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) and Emotional Awareness and Expression Therapy (EAET) within a clear, structured framework that helps you understand why symptoms persist and how to retrain your brain to reduce or eliminate them.

The course distills decades of pain science research and clinical practice into practical tools you can use every day. Through education, guided practice, structured exercises, and group coaching, you will learn how to work with your brain’s neuroplasticity to change the patterns that keep pain going.

Why This Course Is Different

Many people recovering from chronic symptoms find that education alone isn’t enough—and one-on-one coaching, while valuable, can be expensive and isolating.
This course is designed to bridge that gap.
It combines expert guidance, structured practice, and peer support to create a powerful environment for recovery. In many ways, the process is less like traditional treatment and more like training for a sport—physical therapy for your brain.
Because recovery requires consistent practice, support, and self-direction, the course provides:
  • Clear education about how chronic pain works
  • Daily guided practice to build new neural patterns
  • Worksheets and exercises to deepen the work
  • Group coaching and peer learning
  • Accountability and ongoing support
For many people, this combination can be as effective—or more effective—than individual coaching, while remaining far more affordable.

What the Course Includes

  • 16 weeks of structured learning and training
  • Weekly 90-minute live classes
  • A mix of education sessions and group coaching
  • Recordings of all education sessions if you miss a class
  • A comprehensive resource packet, worksheets, and exercises
  • 30 guided audio practices that build on one another
  • Peer support and community
  • Follow-up meetings after the course ends
  • Option for additional one-on-one coaching
Each week builds on the previous one, helping you identify which tools work best for your nervous system and how to integrate them into your daily life.

A Comprehensive Biopsychosocial Approach

This course draws from a wide range of leading work in modern pain science and mind-body recovery, including the work of:
Alan Gordon
Howard Schubiner

Dan Buglio
Dan Ratner
Jim Prussack
John Gasienica

About the Course Creator

My name is Jacob Slominski. I came to this work through my own 15-year journey recovering from severe, debilitating chronic pain
Since then, I have spent four years coaching hundreds of clients, helping them recover using Pain Reprocessing Therapy and other mind-body approaches. This course grew out of that experience—and from seeing where existing treatment models often fall short.
My goal is to give people in pain a large set of effective tools, a clear framework for using them, and the support needed to stay consistent long enough for real change to occur.

Pricing

The course runs for 16 weeks and costs $720, a rate of $45 per 90-minute class.
To make payment easier, you can also enroll in half of the course (8 weeks) for $400, and then decide whether you'd like to continue with the second half.

What This Course Asks of You

This course will meet you where you are—but it will also ask a lot of you.
Recovery from chronic symptoms takes practice, patience, and persistence. But with the right tools, structure, and support, it is possible to retrain your brain and reclaim the freedom, capability, and joy that persistent pain has taken from you.
